Doctor of Computer Science in Enterprise Information Systems

The Doctor of Computer Science with a concentration in Enterprise Information Systems at Colorado Technical University's Institute for Advanced Studies is designed to develop people into leaders in designing, implementing and managing large-scale systems in their chosen professional area. Each year of this three-year program is designed to provide candidates with the theoretical, research and application capabilities necessary to pursue a successful career in their chosen field. The key objectives of the degree program are to help students become familiar with the body of knowledge regarding enterprise information systems as well as models such as CMMI and the Baldridge Process; effectively communicate technical material to non-technical decision makers; and manage the IT implementation process, testing and user training. The DCS-EIS degree program is taught in an executive format, combining online instruction with intensive residential sessions, each lasting four days at the CTU Colorado Springs campus.
