Online Bachelors Degrees Degree at University of Houston
Established in 1927, The University of Houston implemented distance education in 1980 via two off-campus institutes. Continuing the evolution in 1984, they added live closed-circuit televised classes. Distance Education courses are offered to four off-campus sites, thirteen community colleges, via television (cable, PBS), videotape, and live teleconferencing. The DE programs offer eighty-five courses and enrolled over 7,000 students.
